SHELL A2H

 

Shell A2H – the world's smallest analog-to-digital audio-video converter. It converts analog composite (CVBS) signals to digital HDMI. It is ideally compatible with cameras such as Arricam, Arriflex, Moviecam, and any other camera with an analog composite video output.
Weighing only 12.7 grams and consuming no more than 1 watt, our converter requires no external power source.
The digital signal is transmitted and the voltage is received via the HDMI connector.
Using A2H requires no additional equipment as long as your receiving device (monitor, recorder, transmitter, or capture card) supplies +5V to the HDMI connector. You can check the voltage on the HDMI connector with a multimeter measuring the potential at pins 17 and 18, or use special testers or adapters with an indicator.
For example, in the photos on this page, our converter works directly with the Shimbol Memory 7Pro monitor-recorder. The A2H is connected to the HDMI input via a U-shaped adapter with a built-in power indicator (available on marketplaces for 2-3 Euro).
If your receiving device does not output power to the HDMI port, then the Shell Cradle power and mount adapter should be used, which is specially designed not only for A2H.
